"Stories Worth Telling prepared a book about the 40-year friendship I have with some school chums. I love reading the story and looking at the photos. I'll cherish my book forever."

My love of storytelling began when I was five years old. image My father told me about a little girl named Mary Jane, who lived down the lane. She was an orphan with tattered clothing and no toys. Needless to say, my sisters and I were engaged by his story. To my father's surprise, we had soon gathered a basket of food, clothing and toys for poor Mary Jane. My father's tale was a work of fiction. Nevertheless, it introduced me to the effectiveness of a good story!
